Career Choices for Barbie

I am searching for a career, so I am curious What Would Barbie Do? I want to explore the career options young girls have with Barbie as their role model. The box tells me "Anything is possible!" Here are the professions I found.

Ice Skater, Superhero, Fashionista (not a basketball player), Pet Vet (not a doctor), and Nurse.

Note how the nurse and pet vet are not actually Barbie herself, but Barbie's minority friends. LOL

Tennis Player, Soccer Player, Lifeguard, and Movie Director (over a thousand in the world, the box claims! how many movies have you seen directed by a woman?) Note that barbie has to change shoes when she goes from behind the set to on stage - into high heel stiletto boots!

Dentist. (Look at the gap in that kid's tooth. LOL. That's hilarious!)

And hidden up there, celebrity chef.

Well, that was actually a lot more professions than I expected! Not too helpful for me though... no Nuclear Physicist Barbie with Chemist Companion Mary Curry, so I decide to check out Barbie's boyfriend Ken. 

Does Ken even have a job? All that I gathered was Ken wears Hawaiian tee-shirts, board shorts, and that his family has a lot of money. Ah well, at least the girl dolls had a line of work.

When I went to the boy's toy section, all I saw were cars, trucks, and weapons. Oh yeah, and superheroes and wrestlers.
