Superstition

I told ya I'd win the lottery. And I woulda, if I had remembered to stop by the store earlier. But I played too late.

I almost forgot to buy the ticket. At 10pm, sitting in my car about to go to bed, I remembered I didn't buy my lottery ticket.

I debated whether it's good luck to play on the same day as the theft or one day after. I concluded same day would be best.

So I drove up to 7-11 and purchased my tickets on 5/12/2016 sometime before 11 pm. I played the 'match all four in any order' game with the 4-digit combination to my stolen bike. 8-1-4-5.

Look at the results:

If I had gotten to the store just an hour earlier, I would've won the 10 pm drawing on the same day!!!

$125 prize

Ah well, it would not have been enough for a new bike, but I proved that my Spidey sense was on.

And the next day's drawing, which I was entered in was ONE digit off! That's gotta be a cosmic joke on me. LOL.
