The struggle personified.

Tough going today. Tuskegee National Forest. Highway 80 East. Logging trucks, 18-wheelers. No shoulder. Long hills. Against wind. No breakfast, no lunch. 20 oz of water and ten saltines to get me through.

I did not go to Opelika. I actually went a distance of about 37 miles from Tuskagee. Shut off my phone, rested for a while at this church pictured below, and it screwed up the GPS.

Windy hills on the way to Columbus, GA.

I'm going to own you, hill. You just have to take it.

- Watch me get steeper.

All you can do is taunt me into giving up, because you can't do anything to me.

- I summon winds.

No fair. Gears, shift. Get owned, hill.

- Nah. I'm owning you, bicycle guy. Look how much work you have to do while I just sit around.

You'll see when I'm finished with you, who does work for who.

This little green spider hitched onto my bicycle for a ride.

I thought I ditched him on the road, but he was crafty and somehow made it into town.

- My spidey sense is tingling. Hey look, there's one on my bicycle.

I am going to start a new life. Somewhere new, where no one knows me. I can be anyone I want! Human, take me with you.

- *Flick* I don't think so.

Quelle dommage!

- Enjoy the monotony of life.

*Shoots web* Hahahaha. *Jet skiis on the wind* Freedom!

  1. Haha I love the dialogue!

Stupid hill, you're not supposed to have wind summoning powers.
